Logic-i, a leading project consultancy business, has announced the launch of its sister company, Recruit-i, which will focus on white-collar recruitment within the engineering, industrial, power generation, and construction sectors.
Recruit-i will be led by Martin Hickson, who brings 18 years of experience and will deliver tailored talent solutions for both Logic-i and other companies operating in these key industries.
The collaboration is designed to deliver mutual benefits – with Yarm-based Logic-i gaining direct access to top-tier talent capable of advancing projects and driving growth in these highly technical and regulated sectors. Meanwhile, Recruit-i can tap into Logic-i’s expanding network, ensuring both firms deliver exceptional value.
Martin Hickson previously worked for professional services company Worley for over a decade, most recently as Strategic Resourcing Manager, where he led a team focused on recruiting high-calibre talent for senior-level corporate, technical, and niche roles in traditional energy and the energy transition sectors. He also has extensive recruitment experience across the oil and gas, rail, infrastructure, chemical process, and engineering industries.
Michael Priestley, a director of Logic-i, commented: “Martin has a proven track record in delivering top-tier recruitment services, making him the ideal leader for this new venture, aligning talent with the growing needs of key industries.
“The establishment of Recruit-i is a natural extension of our vision at Logic-i, which is growing its pipeline of work across the UK. In addition, we are very much focused on further growing our involvement in complex and significant global projects.
“As a result, we recognised the critical need for a dedicated recruitment partner who understands the intricacies of these technical industries.
“Recruit-i, under Martin’s leadership, will support Logic-i by ensuring its clients have access to the best talent while also acting as a vital resource for other companies operating within these sectors, helping build the specialised workforces essential for success.”
Martin Hickson, director of Recruit-i, added: “I’m excited to lead Recruit-i and build on my experience in recruitment to meet the specific needs of these dynamic sectors. Our goal is to become a trusted partner for businesses, providing access to top-tier talent. By working closely with Logic-i, we can also create a seamless synergy that ensures both firms are delivering exceptional results, particularly as Logic-i scales its projects.”
