Tekmar Appoints Marc Bell as Chief Operating Officer

Tekmar Group plc (AIM: TGP), a leading provider of technology and services for the global offshore energy market, has appointed Marc Bell, Managing Director of Tekmar Energy, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Marc brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience across manufacturing, service, and engineering-focused organisations. A qualified Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s in Business Management from the University of Durham, he has spent the past 15 years in the global energy sector, holding key roles in offshore wind and subsea industries.

Before joining Tekmar, Marc held senior positions including Global Operations Director at JDR Cables, Head of Offshore Wind UKI at Siemens Gamesa, and Global Manufacturing Manager at Technip Umbilicals.

As COO, Marc will lead Pipeshield alongside his existing responsibilities at Tekmar Energy. His focus will be on improving efficiency, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across the Group’s operations. His leadership is expected to enhance synergies between Tekmar Energy and Pipeshield, creating opportunities for cross-selling and broader strategic alignment.
