Engineering, environment and design consultancy Sweco UK has boosted its Buildings team in the north of England with the appointment of Steve Arnold, a mechanical building services engineer with 40 years’ experience.
Steve, who joins from Cundall, has been appointed as project engineer in the consultancy’s Newcastle office. Throughout his career he has successfully led M&E teams undertaking the detailed design and site monitoring of building services projects across the education, residential, commercial and leisure sectors. His experience includes working in Qatar as part of a team designing the M&E services for several rail stations for the Lusail LRT system.
Steve is a Chartered Engineer and corporate member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, and currently serves on the CIBSE North East Regional committee.
