Professional services and engineering firm WSP| Parsons Brinckerhoff in Manchester has been appointed to the Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) professional services framework, securing a place on 14 of 21 strategic lots.
The company held a positon on the previous two TfGM framework contracts won in 2008 and 2012, and has provided specialist services for a range of multi-million-pound infrastructure projects across the city including the Salford Bolton Network Improvements scheme.
The preceding contract came to an end in July 2016, and the multi-disciplined team launched a competitive bid to procure a place on the new framework. The 570-strong Manchester business has been appointed to a number of key lots including transport related civil, structural and building services engineering; transport and infrastructure services.
